I cannot say why I am writing this,

but I am.

A poem to a friend 

Destiny moved, and fades.

Life is still, it breaks, Wealth, but things,

 Hope, now sings.

Smile, life swirls, and moves,

Yet, act and dance to God’s dear groves,

 Sing, and move, not in our world.

Smile, obey, lead others his way

Yet, speak not a word,

your life in action still says.

We, at the distance can see,

 And when the time come, and you know the time,

pray unceaswingly and say.

What you think,

You are a friend,

a person, for whom we care.

1. From a Greek term meaning- to answer.
   refers to general defense, or justification of any systematic approach, system, or grouping.
2. Explanation of beliefs, or societal action.
3. Justifiaction via common grounds.
4. Creation, and building of common ground.
5. Defense of a position of the Catholic Faith, via logical argument, reason, and the communication, whether directly or figuratively- of the true sense of the Saviour’s world, and her substance, and those things pertaining to spiritual edification.

The purpose of Apologetics

With the rise of illogic, and the human idea, and repetition of original sin, in the love of self to the point of despising God, and the idea that human beings can define their own truth, and  not simply observe it,

 truthful; explanation of actual truths is vital to the cause of Truth. The war between God and his enemies is one between that which is, and always will be, and that which, in God’s eyes, will pass, and is but like illusion in our universe (”like rags” Isaiah chapter 50 verse 9; James chapter 1, verse 11; Luke chapter 21- world pass away; Daniel chapter 2 verse 44; I Peter chapter 1 verse 22-25). Therefore, the apologist, has the greatest task- that of proving actual reality against the onslaught of self-enlightenment, and self-righteousness- which has abandoned the ancient greek form of Actual logic, in pursuit of secularism, and “enlightenment”.

The danger of such lies in the abuse of human rights throughout the world, particularily by companies, governments and systems which are largely unchallenged in false ideas of tolerance, and the propagation of good public images. The spread of apathy, and of dangerous religious, and secular mentalities has further spread, in a dangerous way.

Methods of Apologetics

The finding, or creation of common ground is vital to apologetics. If one cannot find a direct defense in such common ground, then one can find the concept, finally, if one cannot convince the fellow absolutely on a fact, the use of sections of the other’s world-view in order to justify, simply the allowance of a belief or action is useful. Generally, apologetics can be in a three part argument, the strongest coming first- that of absolute, and logical, contextual proof within common ground, the second part- furthers it, should this not satisfy- so as to show the concept of the practice or belief within such common framework, and further the idea that it is a strong, if not absolute truth. In all, one must remember who else sees such conversation, and remember that any conversion, can take time, or be instant, yet that while illogical people may reject truth, those around see an argument, and one cannot afford to allow certain perceptions from outside, friendly, neutral, or combative viewers of an argument. Action, also is vital to apologetics, and consistency, yet not submission to manipulative practices of others.

 The order of the first two methods, should be determined by the situation, building on lesser arguments on concepts, (yet still never weak arguments) to stronger ones, can show other meaning to people, which is often vital to apologetics, when others have abandoned logical views. Strong arguments first, and then concepts in common ground, however are often just as, if not more useful, concerning circumstances, yet need to be used in a powerful way, and not appear to be withdrawals, so as to allow outsiders to see the logic of the Truth, over a combatent.

 Finally, an escape clause is useful, a section in the other’s beliefs, which allows one to hold to practices even should they not be convinced. This clause would ideally include such options as allowing for the furthering of dialog on one’s own terms.

This duty to defend general truths, and Catholic truth is furthered by the history of Catholicism, and by the name of God (Yahweh- “I Am Who I Am”). It requires humble, yet not submissive determination to show truth true, yet prudence, and actual action, in the right amount of humble boldness.

Love

Further, love aims at truth (I Corinthians chapter 13 verse 6), and we should pursue truth, and obey it(I peter chapter 1 verse 22).

Biblical Apologetics

The use of religious manuscripts for apologetics, is generally reserved for those who are either in need of explanations of actual faith, or those who believe in it to some degree.

This method can have use, however it shouild not purely be based in such, but arguments, such as bales method should be utilized, and the above listed method used.

The Bible was created by the church, and we believe it because of the church. Any religion in fact must admit that the bible they follow, they follow because it was handed on to them as Divine, by others who believe it so. The idea that this book is simply accepted by “true Christians” is illogical, as different groups have always believed different beliefs, and the perpetrators of such illogic, themselves often disagree with one another. Also, these people’s bibles are vastly different from those of early Christians, and cannot justify their beliefs in any reasonable historical substance.

As The church created the bible, the context in which it is accepted is that of the church, and it itself can never contradict the church, as it was created by the church. Here, reference to early belief, as recorded in the writings of early Christians can be useful, also- one does not have to only use their own arguments, but must remember to fit any argument into the actual situation, and use their own logic, yet never water down Catholic beliefs.

Other truths

Depending on the beliefs of others, one may also show other truths to be so, or different from another’s perspective, particularly via metaphor, and comparison with common practices or sections of another’s religion.

Natural Law

 This common law of morals, which is part of the makeup of man is useful, both in proving a common belief system, in that it is only damaged in areas that are commonly transgressed by specific individuals and societies, and in that all major religions, and all argument somehow recognises such, and appeals to such. Such law is a basis block of our legal system, and our version of what is just, unjust.

One may use the above method, examples, and parables to demonstrate similarities between practises and justify the beliefs of The Church. Often, with natural law, either showing the evidence for such, or talking conversationally about beliefs and similarities, can, via debate and conversation- show correct, Catholic beliefs, and practice.

Speak of love, my friend,

Will it prevail, will it shine, and conquer, and will armies bow in submission, fires roar?

Speak of love, my friend, that infallible force that conquers,

That submits empires, kills and destroys, yet cares for the weak.

Speak of love, that force that fights for justice and wars against disease.

Speak of the power to change, to conquer, to destroy death, turn empires to dust,

Speak, my friend, of weakness that is strength, of men who fight, yet without the sword,

For an empire, that will not fade, for life, by empathy, and care.

Tell of hospitals, and healthcare, of education, and kindness,

Speak of a hand to those in need, a shoulder for the dying,

An ear for the voiceless; a voice for the deaf to hear.

A warrior, whose weapon is to worry for others,

Speak, my friend, speak of love, that infallible force,

Whose worshipers live in peace, though war even now consumes nations,

Speak, my friend of Christianity, that force that Worships Love.

Belief, the act on this ability given- the act of altering one’s entire life, because of the truthful message-

As one would alter their lives, and visit the doctor often, if one had cancer- as we visit the church every Sunday and on the Holy Days when the church requires.

As one does not stop their course of medication, knowing that if they do- that it may return even worse.

God has prescribed the sacraments. There is no honest way to doubt this. Should you honestly doubt it, which is possible, with all those voices and oppinions that so loudly speak against this, perhaps pray, and ask the truh of this- I dare not disobey the voice that my conscience follows. I know that this voice should inform you also, should you open yourelf in obedience and listening. We cannot be judged by that we did not know.

Should we obey our doctors with more zeal that the creator of the universe- than the being that controls the moment of our death?

We should not be ignorant of the message of God himself. If we say that we believe the message, are we to ignore the commands, which are there, to save our souls?

Faith- is hearing the soft voice that we know to belong to God, and obeying it. This is where even baptism of desire involves faith. They hear God in conscience alone, and obey him.

We recognise his voice in the servants of the gospel and the official doctrine of our spiritual mother- the church.

We should always seek the truth, and obey the Lord our God, that voice of conscience within- as best we can

Fire in the water, fire in the sea,

God of fire

God of fire, God of light

God of water, God, divine.

Active, almighty, present in all,

God of Fire, God of Light

Like water in triple point,

Three things, but one,

Like fire in the fireplace,

For not just the wood,

Not the smoke, light or heat alone.

Yet the light is the fire, the smoke, heat and wood.

God of Fire, God of Light,

Metaphor, hardly sufficient,

God of Water, God, Devine

Always know I love you, Always know I care, I will never leave you, no matter the situation, my dear. Even when it’s dark and the night is fading away, even when you’re hungry, and it seems that nobody’s there.

Don’t seek after worldly things, don’t you think I can give you safety, food and friends. Don’t search for them or money, least you lose me in the deal. Surely don’t commit adultery with them, least you become far from me and claim I’m the one who left.

 Surely if you don’t have your desires or your worldly cares, do you think I’d hand you heroine or a car you could not drive. Be patient, I’ll satisfy your heart, go placidly into a dark world, can you make anything change by rushing, or being but a minute earlier when you’re already late.

Take care my child, my only care, don’t you think I’ll take care of you, you who are only my beloved wife. You can’t secure yourself with money, nations around you change and fall and the world itself will rust away. Don’t rely on anything but me, even loyal friends could die or fade away, marriages end, haven’t you seen the courts made for divorce or the wrecks of friendships in the air.

 Do you really think you can secure yourself, are you not copying Adam and trying to take my place, don’t you need your God in your life. Yet, as you do all these things, remember still, it pleases me when you work, did I not design your hands for such, but in all you do, worship me, not the false god of money, or branded designs.

And for the matter of your future life-

Can I not, I who planned your every inch and mold you as you sleep, Can I not find the right career for you and better choose your friends. I placed mosquito repellant on you to keep the wrong sort away, so surely don’t cover it up or search them out anyway. I’ll supply your friends when the time is right. Every perfect gift is from above, and defying me only brings hardship, surely don’t play with porcupines. Obey my commands; they aren’t there to hurt you. Surely, are they not more perfect than any self help book? Look at your life, use the mirror of my Law, are not all your problems originated in what is called sin, aren’t they the drug that denies you your rest, and causes this spiral of hardship only to grow.

My laws are perfect, the key to them love, don’t you want the cure to the slavery of sin. And as for your wife, or husband if you’re female, did I not make you to be with each other? Am I who sustains the earth and controls your heartbeat, am I unable to find the perfect match for you? Surely, left on your own, would you find anything but heartbreak and lies, surely apart from me, on what can you rely? Are not your dating ideals far from the truth? Will you still like that person eighty years from now, even as you both change with every breath that you take, could you keep it together and weave through life’s troubled seas without Him who controls them- planning for the two of you, together to stay.

In all you do, try not to worry, can it add even a moment to your life, doesn’t it take much of your happiness away. My plans are to prosper you, surely, you are mine, you’ve been mine since before you were born, so do not worry, focus what I desire, on what I want you to do, surely, would I punish you for that?

Say what you mean, do not lie and deceive, do you truly have the energy or memory to remember who knows which lie? Can you, a mere man hold down the truth, are you more powerful than the nature of what I created, will I not rebuke you for lying, my dear child.

And surely, and truly, in your trials, thank me for them, did I not place them there to grow you, and make you better for later life, didn’t I place them to humble you, and teach you to be patient.

Come my child, follow me, for there is no darkness in God, and in truth you have nothing to fear, for as long as you stay in me, surely, I’ll do all I wrote to you, but read the Bible, it is your map, but I am your guide!

Written about God, by a man, in the hope that through my walk with him,

That you may better understand, I pray only that my trials, and

Lessons, hard earned as a learner of God

Will give you peace and Comfort as you come to trust in Him

I only hope I haven’t harmed you by writing in the manner I did

Conversion is the ultimate miracle. It is impossible for a man to save another, or pay for his sins. It is impossible to come to God, it is impossible to be righteous, It is impossible to change, or do the smallest good. It is impossible to pray the rosary, or Pray to God.

That is why these are in fact miracles. They are God’s direct hand in our existence. We cannot convert anyone, but through us, God can bring people home to himself. When we pray, or do the smallest good, we are doing the unexpected. We are directly apposing evil. I often think that when I am praying, it is not me talking to God, but God talking to me by my prayer. Yes, when two or more gather, and it builds relationships to pray together, and change things. My point is this, it often feels like God is puppy training me when I pray, teaching me to love, and listening to the words he wrote my character, with joy. Yes, we can do some good without God, but a tree is known by it’s fruit. A bad tree cannot bear good fruit. I often look at the effect people have had on others before I listen to them. This is partly why I’m Catholic. I’ve seen the most devoted of many other religions, and wanted to run.

“My sheep know me, and listen to my voice… they would run away from a stranger”

Also, what an element of truth God gives us. I often sense a true saint, and I feel truth. I have had so much injustice, that I cannot say otherwise, any good done to me is directly of God. Bad people do wrong. Good people are those who do right. We cannot have true faith, without hope and love.

 ”For God will make him to stand”

We cannot have anything without miracles. When we are not living a sinfull lifestyle, we hardly need to knock on doors, we become famous, for being a miracle. I’m not saying that you can’t do some good without a miracle. I’m saying, that even when bad people do good, it is God acting via them. I am saying, that if we persist to be void of serious sin, and loving and kind, then we ourselves are miracles.

“Coming home” is how we all seem to describe it. “Coming home” to God.

I came home, after many powerful miracles, perfectly timed. They were synchronous like clockwork. Now, I’m standing firm, having lost many friends, and learnt to carry my cross.

How glorious to lose one’s life/time/days/plans/etc to God.

It is worth standing out. We who are saints, who try our hardest and obey,

We are the only proof to many of God.
